Our newest design features the popular 8”x4” subway-tile pattern. Plus, showers with the Subway Tile feature our 90-degree corners for a beautiful clean look.

Large Format Subway Tile

Go big with our with 12×18 large format subway-tile pattern. This modern design comes with 90-degree corners for a seamless look.

Classic

(4” tile with a textured or dimpled finish)

Our 4” classic tile has subtle ripples for an added dimensional look. This tile pattern is, well, a classic!

Diamond Tile

A popular choice for custom accent colors! 8” smooth tile with a 4” diamond-tile decorative band. Customize the look by selecting one of our many accent colors.

Eight Inch Tile

(8” tile with a smooth or textured finish)

Is bigger always better? You be the judge! We took the look of standard tiles and kicked it up a notch to an 8” smooth tile pattern.

RealTile

(4” tile with a smooth finish)

Get the look of 4” square smooth ceramic tile with the quality and convenience of Bestbath’s plywood-backed composite construction and design.

Smooth Wall

(no texture or tile patterns)

Sometimes you just want to keep it simple. Our smooth-walls have no tile pattern or design, but will still look great for years to come with our quality construction and gelcoat finish.

Drain Location

The drain location when viewed facing the shower or tub. For some products, we also offer custom drain locations to accommodate difficult remodels.

Transfer/Roll In

Transfer: A transfer shower or shower pan has a 36” x 36” inside clearance and a low-threshold height (1/2″ maximum). It is referred to as a transfer shower as it can accommodate someone approaching the shower in a wheelchair then transferring into the shower or onto an optional shower seat.

Roll-In: A roll-in shower or shower pan has a minimum inside clearance of 60” x 30” and a maximum threshold height of 1/2″. It can accommodate someone who needs to enter the shower in a wheelchair or a rolling shower chair.

Threshold Type:

A shower threshold is the front edge of the shower that you step over to enter a shower. In code accessible, barrier-free or zero-entry showers it may appear there is no threshold, but in fact, the front is slightly higher than the drain location to help keep water contained within the shower and to drain properly.

Bestbath offers three threshold types:

Traditional (bull-nose)

Beveled

Curbed

Reveal

Bestbath’s Reveal extends the structure and finish of interior walls of the shower to make a 90-degree turn. When finished, the bathroom drywall butts up against the Reveal to make a nearly seamless extension of the shower.

Curb Height:

In a step-in shower, the curb is the part of the shower that keeps water in the shower or pan. Curb height is measured from the outside of the shower, from the shower floor to the top of the curb.

For example, a 5” curb will require you to lift your feet close to 5”, depending on the type of flooring outside of the shower.
