Boise, Idaho – Bestbath, a leading manufacturer of universal design showers and tubs, has launched a new 60-inch-by-32-inch shower and tub featuring a sleek new design perfect for commercial or single-family new construction.
The shower tub combo features a built-in sloping soap ledge that can also be used as an arm rest when sitting. The back tub wall contours for back support, improving comfort. Additionally, the interior of the tub is larger than standard baths, providing more leg-room for taller bathers when laying in the tub.
“We have created an ergonomically curved backrest for added support to make bathing more comfortable. With more curve to provide more back support and a wider interior for leg space, bathers will be able to relax in the tub without feeling cramped,” said Nate Jensen, vice president of channel sales for Bestbath.
The new tub is a molded, single-piece tub shower with a smooth-wall finish. The installation process is fast and easy without the need of a thin set mortar. All tub showers are pre-leveled at the factory to ensure proper draining, saving time on the job site. Bestbath showers are designed with wood-backed walls so that grab bars can be added up front or later on. Available in standard white, as well as solid surface color options, the shower tub can be customized with Bestbath’s TileDesign option.

Units are custom made when ordered, and shipped within three business days. Bestbath offers a 30-year limited warranty on the 60-inch-by-32-inch shower tub.
