Boise, Idaho – Bestbath, a leading manufacturer of universal design showers and tubs, has launched its new 60-inch-by-60-inch universal design shower. Available in multiple configurations including a two-wall corner shower, the multi-piece shower is suitable for a master or a large second bathroom.
The new shower delivers a solution for customers looking to incorporate universal design features into their homes by updating their shower to a barrier free solution. Bestbath showers are designed with wood-backed walls so that grab bars can be added during installation or at a later date.

The size configuration also fits the requirements for the Veterans Administration HSA Program. But it also offers a perfect option for anyone looking for a beautiful master bathroom shower, as it aligns perfectly with the trend to have larger showers in bathrooms. This is the only composite shower in the market featuring an integral spring locking wall system.”
The 60-inch-by-60-inch shower is designed with Bestbath’s new SpringClip wall system for faster and easier installation. The SpringClip wall system replaces the traditional installation process, which requires a pin to hold the walls into place until they are set. The 90-degree corners create a water-tight connection. The shower comes as a multi-piece shower, making installation easier for either retrofit projects or new construction.
“With the shower being multi-piece, builders can limit the labor required by having manageable shower pieces that are easy to handle. Additionally they can avoid having to repair a damaged shower by installing it later in the building process,” said Woolley.
With eight versions to choose from, the shower can be customized to fit what the customer wants. The design created for the 60-inch-by-60-inch shower is a continuation of Bestbath’s other subway tile patterns in other configurations. TileDesign tile can be added to customize the shower, and are designed to go from corner to corner. Shower units are available in many different color options, including Bestbath’s TileDesign solid surface, a granite-looking composite. Sold separately, the corner shower has an optional rod and weighted curtains to work with the WaterStopper available for purchase.
Units are custom made when ordered and shipped within as little as three business days. Bestbath offers a 30-year limited warranty on all showers.
